Certificate For Accounting Technicians Year 1 with Live Virtual classes for Accounting Technicians in conjunction with ATI and LWETB. Learners will have full access to LWETB classes and tutorials live over MS Teams from home supported by the ATI on line learning suite with the hope that classroom teaching may also be facilitated when COVID restrictions are lifted.

Classes take place each Monday and Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9.45pm commencing on Monday 27th September 2021 Tuition concludes at the end of April and examinations are held in June.

The Certificate Course is the first-year program for trainee Accounting Technicians. It is aligned with Level 6 of the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in the Republic of Ireland.

In First Year students study:

  • Financial Accounting
  • Taxation
  • Business Management
  • Business Law

The course fee is €900 (4 modules), and the cost per module where less than 4 modules taken is €250 per module.

Please Note: A commitment to additional independent study is required.

Students should also be aware that the course fee covers tuition costs only and that Accounting Technicians Ireland charges its members for registration and examination fees. 

The costs for 2021-22 will be; Registration fee – €200, Examination fee per subject – €75, student textbook per subject €65.
