Week 1 

Make a fatless sponge cake and decorate with cream and raspberry jam. Demonstrate how to make piping bags and pipe chocolate butterflies for our cake.  Decorate with fresh fruit

Week 2

Buttercream week How to make proper buttercream,  how to pipe a cake with buttercream, how to pipe flowers and decorations with buttercream. Learners may bring in a cooked cake of their choice or from recipes provided by tutor.

Week 3 

Handbag cake (8 inch Madera cake)  Icing a cake, buttercream a crumb coat and apply fondant icing.

Sugar Flower Bouquets, Roses, Carnations, Daisies, Gerberas and leaves to go with them
