First Aid Responder, essential for the workplace and suitable for Sports Coaches and Volunteers.
ESSENTIAL FOR THE WORKPLACE!
Under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, there is a requirement on employers based on a Risk assessment to have sufficient numbers of First Aid Responders trained and deployed in their workplace. All early Childcare settings are obliged to have a FAR trained First Aider on site.
This is a comprehensive 3 Day PHECC Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council Course is designed to meet the first aid and basic life support (BLS) requirements that a person known as “First Aid Responder” may encounter.
In addition to CFR skills, the First Aid Responder possesses defined skills in the further management of a patient who has become suddenly ill or injured in the pre-hospital environment until the arrival of emergency medical services.
On successful completion of the course and the assessment, participants will be presented with a PHECC First Aid Responder certificate, which is valid for 2 years.
